HIGHWAY INSPECTION TRAINING

Highway Inspection is an area that we specialise in. We have written and operate the City & Guilds 6033 - Highway Inspection and Monitoring qualification and can also offer Highway Inspection Technical and Legal courses.

We provide nationwide coverage for all of these programmes and can deliver the courses and any required assessments on your site.

HIGHWAY INSPECTION TECHNICAL & LEGAL

Our Highway Inspection Technical course is intended for those carrying out highway inspection in their first year as a highway inspector but can also serve as a useful refresher for more experienced inspectors.

The aim of our Highway Inspection Legal course is to give someone carrying out highway inspections detailed knowledge of highways law, enforcement, knowledge of how to successfully prosecute cases and defend claims, including how to collect and present evidence.

Both our Highway Inspection Technical and Highway Inspection Legal training courses can be offered with and without LANTRA certification.

HIGHWAY SAFETY INSPECTIONS

Comprised of a health & safety unit and a practical safety inspection unit this qualification provides a system to assess the ability of highway inspectors and is intended to be flexible enough to cater for all methods of operation.

Training usually takes place on your site over four days including the health & safety unit 301 and preparation training for the practical safety inspection unit 311. Training can be based around your systems & procedures, local HAMP and CoPfHMM. Assessment includes a theory and practical element and is completed by an assessor after the training has taken place.

NRSWA & PERMIT COMPLIANCE INSPECTIONS

These City & Guilds units have been developed specifically to meet the needs of clients who wish to achieve best practice based on national and local standards, whilst also providing opportunities for staff to achieve a nationally recognised City & Guilds vocational qualification.
